Ingredients
Cranberry Sauce
- 1 pound cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
- Juice of 1/2 orange
- 3-inch segment of orange peel
Directions
Cranberry Sauce
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan - bring to a simmer, and cook until it reaches a thick, syrupy.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and orange peel, and serve.
