Vodka Limeade

Ingredients

Vodka Limeade

• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup water
• 1 lime (plus more for juice)
• 1 cup lime juice freshly squeezed recommended
• 3 cups cold water
• 1 1/2 cups vodka

Directions

Vodka Limeade

1. Into a saucepan, pour in 1 cup water and 3/4 cup sugar. Zest one lime into the saucepan and squeeze in it's juice.
2. Bring to a simmer for 15 minutes, set aside to cool.
3. Combine 2 cups cold water with 3/4 cup lime syrup mixture, 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice, and 1 1/2 cups vodka.
4. Adjust amounts to taste, adding more water or syrup to dilute or sweeten the mixture.
5. Serve over ice, garnish with lime slice.
6. Adding ice to glasses rather than the serving pitcher will prevent further dilution.
