Mini Waffle Maker Corn Dogs

Ingredients

Waffle Maker Corn Dogs

• 1 cup Fine Yellow Corn Meal
• 3/4 cup AP Flour
• 2 tablespoons Sugar
• 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1.5 C Buttermilk
• 1 Egg
• 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
• 1 tbsp Honey

Directions

Waffle Maker Corn Dogs

1. Combine 1 cup Fine Yellow Corn Meal, 3/4 cup AP Flour, 2 tablespoons Sugar, 1 tablespoon Baking Powder, and 1/2 tsp Salt in a bowl and whisk until homogeneous.
2. In a separate bowl, combine 1.5 C Buttermilk, 1 Egg, 1 tbsp Honey, and 1 Tbsp Olive Oil.
3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then whisk until smooth, being careful not to over mix.
4. Slice hot dogs to fit the waffle maker.
5. Brush the waffle maker with oil, then pour in the mixture. Layer your dogs, pour more.
